Introduction
Are you an experienced auditor willing to work for a private equity as a financial controller?
Reporting to the CFO, you will be trained to take over the management of a private equity fund based in Luxembourg.
You will be offered autonomy, permanent training and responsibilities within an international and stable environment. Your role will be diverse and cover financial, middle office and regulatory tasks.
Function information
Your Responsibilities
- Collection and follow-up of all financial data to enable the calculation, cash transfer and bookkeeping of operations for a variety of investment vehicles
- Preparing and ensuring those funds’ financial statements are accurate and comply with accounting principles and regulatory standards
- Maintaining treasury forecasts and run rate statements up to date, preparing periodical reports and activity reports for investment committees and annual general meetings
- Handling tasks in fund accounting and liaising with company auditors ensuring audits are handled effectively
- Providing deal support to the investments teams on deal execution
- Liaising with the fund administrator, custodian bank, transfer agent to administer payments, updates on portfolios and distributions to investors across the structures
Requirements
Your Profile
- A university degree in finance or accounting
- A first experience of 3 years in an audit firm in Luxembourg with a specialisation on the funds industry and an exposure to private equities
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
- Curious, excellent communication skills, organised, loyal and accurate
- Fluent in French and English
