Opportunity:

Monitor and analyze the Renewables legislative and regulatory framework (with main focus on onshore wind and large-scale PV revenues stabilization mechanisms) evaluating the impact of relevant regulations on business activities and project development and supporting the relevant implementation and compliance, in Italy and in the main European markets where the Company operates.

Resposabilities:
  • Monitor and analyze the relevant regulation (auctions, other revenues stabilization/support mechanisms, Guarantees of Origin, ETS…) at the European level and for the relevant countries, supporting the definition of the regulatory framework and the evaluation of the potential impacts on business and activities
  • Provide the required support in the participation in renewable energy competitive auctions
  • Support the internal process to ensure asset compliance to the specific regulation, working closely with the relevant Departments
  • Identify and understand the relevant regulation and analyze the potential impacts, keeping the relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. Business Development and M&A, Energy Management, Operations, Corporate Finance and Valuation) updated on regulatory developments, highlighting the expected impacts
  • Assist in lobby activities and participation in trade association, contributing to the definition of internal positions on regulatory topics
  • Support the Head of Regulatory, Market Analysis and Scenario in the preparation of internal reporting on the analysis of the impact of regulatory measures, proposing actions to mitigate potential risks and/or to capture potential opportunities
  • Monitor the relevant data and figures on renewables market, supporting the analysis of the competitive context and identifying key market trends
  • Support Business Development and M&A and Corporate Finance and Valuation in the evaluation of projects
  • Prepare relevant market studies
Skills
  • Degree: Engineering, Economics
  • Master with focus on energy / environmental matters is a plus
  • 5 years+ experience in Regulatory Affairs or roles focused on legislation and regulation of renewables (onshore wind and large scale PV)
  • Italian – fluent written and spoken
  • English – fluent written and spoken
  • At least one additional language among French, German or Spanish
  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills to collect, evaluate, examine and interpret data and information
  • Ability to synthetize information identifying key points in a complex context
  • Strong teamworking capabilities as often required to participate and/or coordinate inter-functional teams
  • Proactive approach
  • Problem solving and ability to work independently evaluating priorities
  • Written and oral Communication skills
