We are partnering with Comic Relief to recruit an Education Strategy and Resources Manager to join the successful youth and engagement team.

In this role you will lead the development and delivery of Comic Relief's education strategy for schools, nurseries youth groups and young people in and out of school, in order to promote understanding of the issues that Comic Relief supports and inspire them to fundraise.

The role involves working closely with the Schools and Youth Creative Producer in creative team and to lead cross-organisational project teams. Key to success in the role is ensuing materials are best in class and maximise opportunities to inspire schools, nurseries, youth groups and young people in and out of school to fundraise.


  • Design and produce all educational materials
  • Develop an education strategy for schools, nurseries and youth groups in and out of schools that meet broader organisational objectives, reflects audience needs, and is consistent with the Comic Relief brand including Red Nose Day and Sport Relief
  • Identify opportunities to improve teachers and head teachers understanding of the benefits of taking part in Comic Relief's Campaigns
  • Research and plan all education outputs and develop robust creative briefs for education resources and materials
  • Manager and work with the internal and external teams such as the creative, digital, broadcast and editorial, teams, data suppliers, print producers, agencies and corporate partners
  • Provide audience expertise in aspects of technology delivery and other areas that are crucial for the overall engagement of schools and delivery of campaign targets

We are looking for someone who understands how schools work, education material needed for target audiences and good project management skills to oversee the delivery. This is a very creative role, you will work very closely with the creative team lead at Comic Relief to issue the materials in digital, print or broadcasting form.
