Positie

The Global Procurement Strategy Lead position in the CoE oversees the procurement analysts and Business Intelligence roles and ensures that key stakeholders have the right information at the right time. You trigger and support strategic change/initiatives based on internal and external procurement trends & developments. You work closely with the procurement leadership team across Europe as well as with business functions within the Liberty Global group. Procurement is at the heart of the Liberty Global business strategy, focusing on a total external spend (purchased value) of ca. 6.5 billion Euro, covering both direct and indirect spend. Within Procurement, the Global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for ensuring that all procurement teams in the Liberty Global entities operate according to well defined and harmonized processes, procedures, tools and systems. Manage a team of Global Analysts supporting the GSML teams and 1 Global BI Analyst. Ensure availability and optimal use of tools to provide relevant data to the GSML team. Drive standardization in the processes and methodologies used across teams and markets in all data related fields such as: data analysis, TCO calculations, demand and supply analysis. Support, together with the System Lead, the automation of the reporting tools, in compliance with the department strategy. Support the development & implementation of an overall procurement strategy, strategic objectives and operating model by making available the relevant analysis and benchmarking data. Overall reporting (across categories), including but not limited to spend cube, value creation, and procurement dashboard. Develop and distribute procurement performance reports. You manage the collection & analysis of savings data and drive the creation of savings reports You drive the continuous improvement of the BI function

Functievereisten

Academic background (minimum Bachelor): preferably in business administration or finance / procurement > 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Finance or Operations (including advanced Excel experience) > 2 years of experience in an international / multi-country environment Preferably experience in a Procurement environment (Source to Pay)
