Workforce Systems & Information Project Manager - Manchester

I am looking to speak with experienced HR professionals to come and assist a Central Government client of mine with projects to improve their information systems. - The successful candidate must have experience of Workforce Systems and ESR.

Candidate's must be able to start no later than Monday 4th July.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:-

* Undertaking a project to review of the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system and ensure that it is updated so that accurately reflect the current organisational establishment and contain complete and accurate staff records;

* Develop a suite of management information reports collaboratively with the HR team

* The implementation of a Learning Management System that enables managers and staff to access online tools that support learning and development, including e-appraisal;

* Updating and improving systems that support recruitment, talent management and apprenticeships process

* Reviewing and updating the HR filing structure, devising and implementing file structures and protocols that ensure the effective and efficient storage of service data.

* Progressing manager self-service projects that relate to workforce.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

* Have excellent computer skills and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of workforce information systems

* Have previously undertaken projects that involved implementing or improving workforce information technologies

* Have a good understanding of workforce issues and how management information can be used to support the delivery of effective workforce strategies.

* Have practical recent (within the past two years) experience of the NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system or a similar workforce information system.

* Have the ability to devise and implement systems and processes that can provide management information as well as utilise them effectively to produce management information.

This is a standalone hands-on role and the post holder will be expected to be able to deliver on these projects themselves as limited support will be available to assist with these projects.

The successful applicant will form part of the HR senior management team and will be expected to provide senior HR Management capacity and take part in general operational activities as demand requires.
