Together with our client, a leader in sustainable waste management and based in Zaventem,
we are looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f).
In this role you will report to the GL Teamleader and your main responsibility is to ensure that all financial transactions of the business have been properly recorded and accurately reflect the company’s financial situation at all time.
Your main tasks will be:
- prepare, follow-up and finalize the monthly closing
- prepare and sign off on all account reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, etc
- prepare annual accounts, corporate tax declarations, VAT returns, statistical reports and external reporting
- offer support to the team in GL activities if necessary
- prepare and analyze the KPI reports
- work together with the controllers on the budget & forecast
- write and maintain process descriptions and procedures
- review of coding supplier invoices
- assist with the internal and external audits
Requirements
- you hold a degree in Accountancy
- you have several years of GL Accounting experience
- experience in an international and dynamic company is an asset
- you have strong technical accounting and tax skills
- you are able to work in a changing environment
- you are customer oriented
- you have excellent MS office skills, especially Excel
- you have a proven experience with the use of ERP systems
- you are fluent in Dutch and French
