Function information
You will be part of the EMEA finance team, with local and international responsibilities. As an Internal Auditor, you are the driving force behind following responsibilities:
- You design internal audit procedures and work flows for various financial processes;
- You identify the risk areas within the company and advise accordingly;
- You gain business acumen of the company by collaborating and connecting with the business heads and will ensure the current processes are in line with the business needs;
- You will perform internal audit testing’s to assess the adequacy, effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with the established internal controls, procedures, policies, laws and regulations;
- You ensure that the audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the risks, circumstances and process;
- You will discuss these conclusions and findings directly with the line managers and you will provide a report to senior management;
- Last but not least, you will be responsible for the follow up on the audit findings to ensure the correct actions were taken by the business.
Requirements
- Master degree in Finance;
- Minimum 3 year experience as an auditor in an international environment (Big 4 or similar);
- You are able and willing to travel internationally for 30% of your time
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French, together with English is a must;
- You have a good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
- Knowledge of J SOX is a strong plus;
- You have a broad financial knowledge;
- You also show excellent presentation and communication skills;
- You are able to advice and convince people;
- You have a positive and can-do attitude.
