Function information
Together with our client, an international company based in Diegem, we are looking for a VAT Compliance Consultant (m/f) with potential to grow and develop within the in-house tax team.
You will be part of the corporate EMEA Tax Team and you will report to the European Head of Indirect Tax.
Your focus will be on VAT compliance issues and streamlining the VAT reporting.
Your main tasks will be:
- Process the VAT data and information
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other VAT related statements
- Provide practical consultancy on VAT reporting matters
- Assist with VAT audits
- Perform VAT health checks
- Liaise with different internal departments on VAT related matters
- Liaise with external consultants on VAT related matters
- Manage all VAT compliance related aspects
Requirements
• You have a Master Degree in Economics or Law or equivalent by experience
- You have a first experience in VAT
- You have an analytical and technical mindset
- You are an excellent communicator
- You are able to work in a customer-driven and results oriented environment
- Strong MS Office skills
- You are fluent in English (oral and in writing)
- You have the potential to grow and develop within the in-house tax team
