Are you willing to travel to Paris on a weekly basis? (2days)
Together with our client, an international company based in Diegem, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller (m/f).
In this role you will report to the regional Business Controller and you will be in charge of all aspects of financial management and control on behalf of the Product Business Groups operating in France.
You will ensure accurate and timely gross profit reporting & accounting and you will support the business leaders with the execution of the strategies and growth objectives.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Daily management and execution of accounting activities in close collaboration with the Accounting Manager Western Region
- Review monthly P&L
- Work with different teams to ensure that all aspects of revenue and gross profit are reported on a timely and accurate basis
- Give support to the business unit leaders, sales managers and the wider finance function
- Drive the budget and forecasting processes
- Execute variance analysis
- Review business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with the implementation of the improvement plan of effective, efficient finance processes and procedures into the French organization
- Ensure that all enquiries are resolved in a timely manner and escalated when necessary
- Promote quality-and deadline oriented closings
- Ensure the correct allocation of costs
- Support the implementation, monitoring and understanding of the company’s internal controls and procedures
- Provide effective support for internal and external audits
- Implement procedures, KPI’s
- Ensure compliance with Sox
Requirements
- You hold a Master degree in Economics or Finance
- You have a solid experience in controlling within an international company
- You are a strong communicator, self-confident and you can act as an internal point of mutual interest
- You are an advanced user of Excel and you have experience with SAP (FICO & BW)
- You are proactive, enterprising and you have a dynamic personality
- You are fluent in French and English
- You are ready to travel to Paris 2 days every other week
