Inhouse Solution Architect for IoT Platform (AWS) in Zurich

For our client in Zurich, an international company in the industrial sector, which develops software and secure cloud solutions, we are looking for a Solution Architect for IoT Platform (AWS).

Your tasks:

In internal projects you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the platform architecture as well as for the consistent definition and continuous improvement of the technology architecture of the AWS Cloud Environment.

• Communication of technology priorities and decisions to technical and none-technical stakeholders
• Provide global thought leadership on our cloud environment and technologies
• Work with implementation teams, architects, and other technology stakeholders to implement a global holistic platform across value streams

Your tasks:

To cope with the tasks, you hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or in another technical field as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience as Architect in a cloud-based environment, preferably with AWS.

• Very good experience in PaaS
• Architectural experiences with distributed, scaling systems
• Ability to communicate with developers as well as high-level management
• Used to work in agile methods (Scrum) and close collaboration with internal stakeholders
