Automotive Project Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

• Managing small/large life cycle customer project management
• Supporting budget, resources and timeline planning
• Providing technical support to production sites
• Leading advanced customer planning in accordance with the latest automotive standards QS 9000/VDA /ISO TS 16949
• Controlling part technical specifications and part cost in the field of die casting
• Monitoring and validating Bill of Material consistency for the globally located plants
• Providing regular reporting on progress of customer needs and production availability to the higher management
• Strategic partnerships with customers respect to Europe and other core markets

Your profile:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
• Several years of experience in (international) project management, ideally in the automotive industry or plastic processing
• Experience in druckguss systems or plastic technologies would be of the great advantage
• Experience on technical leadership of a small group of engineers
• Fluent in German and English
• Capable of dealing with new technologies, from literature search and benchmarking analysis to supplier relations and prototype testing
• Able to adapt to new strategies
• Positive work attitude
