We are looking for a Senior US GAAP Accountant to work within Shared Services Controllership team. The person will take ownership of the month-end closing activities, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and also provide support on various projects/processes improvements initiatives.

The types of activities and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

· Preparation of the Functional reporting packages (P&L) as well as the Balance Sheet accounts (as assigned within area of responsibility)

· Preparation and/or Review of the Balance Sheet reconciliations

· Preparation of calculations stating basis for the US GAAP entries and Review of such calculations when prepared by other team-members

· Preparation of documentation needed for US GAAP audit and statutory accounts (prepared by Professional Service providers), also ensure that all follow up queries from tax team are answered timely

· Provide support on numerous projects and ensure prompt answers to ad-hoc requests

Candidates need to:

· have strong analytical and accounting skills (approx.10+ years of accounting experience acquired preferably in the Shared Services environment)

· see “big picture” and challenge established processes

· demonstrate understanding of compliance topics (in that role it'll translate into maintaining high level of SOX documentation for journal entries, reconciliations, successful process walkthroughs with Group auditors)

· be hands-on, flexible, have ability to multi-tasking

· systems' savvy, proficiency in Excel
